4.

                                                              4.

The BOMARILLU  ringtone of my cellphone rang to the fullest sound when i was swapping the channels on the TV. I pressed the green button with my thumb.

"HELLO"- I said.

"Is it SWAYAMSU?"- a voice whispered from the other side.

It took me a few milliseconds to decipher that it was she, PIPASA, PIPASA PUNYATOYA.

"hey, pipasa!!!!"

"u recognised my voice?????"

"in fact, this is the call i was waiting for...."

"why, for heaven u were waiting for my call????"

Now i wanted to change the topic.
"First answer me- where did u get my number?"- i tactfully asked.

"There's nothing to hide, I copied it from Saina's cellphone, without her nottice. I'm sorry , if u didn;t like it"

"come on, stop being formal. I'm glad and equally surprised- pleasantly...."

"Well, u didn't answer my question- why were u waiting for my call???"

It was really a tough question to answer at that point of time and my mind was absolutely blank with no clues.

"I don't know.....i just felt so"- that's all i could say.

That was our first conversion over phone and then in a few days we got addicted to talk with each other. A large amount of pocket money had to be invested in recharging my mobile. It was difficult to manage, but then u don't get everything easily in life.

Hours of talking over phone made us closer, I shared everything of my life with her . I used to crack stupid jokes and she used to laugh at them. But within all these our relationship increased manifold.

We both knew it was not just friendship, it was something more than that. May be it was love, but we didn't bother to express it in words. May be it was more beautiful the unsaid way.

Though we were in the same college, we didn't talk too much in the college. We didn't want to make our relationship public, we didn't want to to make our relationship public. Only some of our close friends knew about it.

                                     5.

It was OB class and the faculty was explaining the difference between 'AIM AND GOAL'.First he asked the difference to the whole class. As none of us bothered to raise a hand , he decided to call a roll number randomly, which, unfortunately, turned out to be mine. Yes, roll number 201 is what he called. Before i could believe my bad luck , i found myself standing in the class with 66 heads(including the faculty) and 132 eyes(not considering the extra 2 eyes of the so called 4 eyed people with glasses) turned towards me.
I had no clues, whatsoever. Thanks to my hard labour on english grammar during my school days which eventually helped me to save my image of a decent student in the class.

"Sir, 'goal' can be used only as a noun while 'aim' can be used both as noun and verb"- i answered.

Though my answer was good enough to raise the eyebrows of the faculty , it was not related to OB by any means . Then he detected us the complicated definitions and differences between the two words , which, i'm sure were taken from Aswathappa , the book I dislike the most. Aswathappa is the author of the book and we engineers name the books by its authors.

That day, I returned home and started thinking about the aim and goal of my life. I felt bad that i had not set any goals as yet. It took me quite a long time to reach to a suitable conclusion. Finally, i got the call from my heart. I set both the aim and goal of my life at that point of time. To get into a good b-school, to be a business tycoon and to finally enter into politics were my goals of life and the aim was to be FAMOUS- to be famous in every endevour  of my life.

                                                                               6.

'The number you are trying to call is busy at the moment'- this was the only answer I was getting from the other side for last 20 minutes. This happened for the first time ever since I had started talking with PIPASA. It was humiliating. I was almost red with anger and finaly decided to stop calling any more, after a few more unsuccessful attempts.but i just couldnot stop calling.Love,as they say, is irresistible. This time, it connected.

"hello"-she uttered in her ususal innocent voice or to me only it sounded innocent..

"Who is that important person you were talking to for the last half-an-hour??"-i asked trying my best to suppress my anger, though i failed in my attempt very evidently.

"Calm down swayamsu...........why........"

I interrupred her midway"cant u plz directly answer my qestion??????"

"baba had called .i talked to mama and my brothers as well and i even didnt know u were calling, 'waiting' is not activared in my cell. Please dont get angry baby"

Girls do know magic tricks to take the control over the other sex.She was no exception. In a few minutes we started talking normaly, as though nothing had happened...

                                                                               7.

Apart from beautiful ones, there were also some sexy girls in our college, who used to be the main topic of discussion in the khati session of the boys.Anita was one of those much sought-after girls , on whom rahul had a crush from the very first day,She belonged to CSE branch and rahul, being from EEE , didnt get to spend enough time or opportunity to impress her.

Anita had beautiful eyes , but a touch of madness lurking in them and the rest of her body had a pefect shape that would lead to make her a dream girl of a boy in his wet dreams. There were a few more such girls in our college ,but Anita was at the top of the list.Whenever Rahul's lusty eyes see a sexy girl , he never hesitates to proudly declare , "she badly needs a carrot".In case of Anita, it was no different.

Lalu ,being one of the most innocent boy that he was , asked anshuman, "what is he talking about ???"

Ansuman and I looked at each other helplessly. Llau was too innocent to catch on.

Then Ansuman took the pain of demonstrating the thing with the help of his fingers.Lalu was too shocked  to react.

Rahul admonished  Lalu , "next time dont ask silly questions,ok ?????"

I , who was silent all through the conversation, decided to break the silence , finally.

"as u say , she needs a carrot , should i offer mine???"

No sooner than i had finished the sentence , saina and pipasa reached at that place from nowhere.

This also saved me from hearing the worst things from rahul's serene toungues,as he always told with utmost authority , "Anita is my GIRL"

"so what were you talking to offer whom???"-papasa wanted a clarification from me.

"he was saying to offer C............"

"cold-drinks"-ansuman interrupted  rahul.

"he was saying to offer cold-drinks to all of us"-ansuman clarified as rahul and I looked at each other.............
